Delete your SlovLearn account

Two ways to delete your account: directly inside the SlovLearn app (instant, recommended), or by sending us an email. Either way, your account and all associated data are permanently removed — there is no recovery.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

This is the fastest way. Deletion happens immediately on our servers.

Open SlovLearn on your device and sign in if you are not already signed in.
Tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the home screen to open the user menu.
Scroll down and tap «Удалить аккаунт» / «Delete account» (the red button at the bottom of the menu).
Read the confirmation dialog. Tap «Да, удалить» / «Yes, delete».
Type УДАЛИТЬ (or DELETE in English) when prompted, then tap OK.
Your account and all data are deleted immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

Option 2 — Delete by email

If you cannot access the app (uninstalled, lost device, etc.), email us:

Subject: SlovLearn account deletion request
Body: The Google email address you used to sign in to SlovLearn.

We will verify the request by replying to that email address and then delete the account within 7 business days.

What is deleted

The following data is permanently and immediately erased from our servers (Firebase / Google Cloud, EU region):

Data	What it is
Account	Firebase Authentication record (email, name, UID).
Profile	Premium status, settings, language preferences.
Learning progress	SRS state for every card (interval, ease, due date, review history).
Custom decks	Personal decks you created, including AI-generated cards.
Mistakes log	List of cards you marked as «Не знаю» / «Don't know».
Stats	Daily streaks, total cards reviewed, time spent.
AI quota	Daily generation counter.

What is kept (and why)

Data	Retention	Reason
Anonymized crash reports	Up to 90 days	Sentry crash logs are linked only to a Firebase UID (no email, no IP). When the account is deleted the UID becomes orphaned — the entries remain for 90 days and are then automatically purged. No way to link them back to you.
Server access logs	Up to 30 days	Standard Google Cloud / Firebase logs (function invocations, error rates). Used for security and abuse prevention. Auto-deleted by Google.

This action cannot be undone. There is no «trash» or «restore» — deletion is final. If you sign in again with the same Google account afterwards, you will start fresh as a new user with an empty profile.

Built-in confirmation

To prevent accidental deletion, the in-app flow asks you to:

Tap the red «Delete account» button.
Confirm in a dialog that warns about data loss.
Type the word УДАЛИТЬ or DELETE in capital letters.

Only after all three steps does the deletion run.
